The prayer is a duty on believers at appointed times.
Saum
(يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ )
[ البقرة: 183]
O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2).
Hajj
"And proclaim that the people shall observe Hajj pilgrimage. They will come to you walking or riding on various exhausted (means of transportation). They will come from the farthest locations." [Quran 2:125] We have rendered the shrine (the Kaba) a focal point for the people, and a safe sanctuary.
Zakah
“And establish prayer and give Zakat, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves – you will find it with Allah.” (2:110, Qur'an)

Distribute Turkeys to the needy families. Taunton Mayor Shaunna O'Connell and MA state Rep. Carol Doherty were invited to join this social event on behalf of Iqra Islamic Center. Taunton Gazette, the Local News channel spoke Highly about Iqra Islamic Center that this Islamic Center is coming to town.
Religious Events
